Live Performance vs. CD

There is a difference in listening to a CD and a live concert. I suppose it’s because you can actually feel the energy/vibrations in the air coming from the artist;  maybe it’s like some kind of human broadcasting tower or something?

The goal of course when creating a CD is to capture that same personalized “artist” energy within the recording, and allow it to be experienced by the listener in a satisfying way through headphones or speakers etc.
