Hi Jim! I am excited to hear about your new album. I have been a fan of your music since I was in high school. Your music helped me study! Today, I play your music as my baby girl’s lullaby. My favorite song is “Miracle.” It really struck something deep in me… And then I found out years later your inspiration for that song… and I can really relate!

Thank you so much for sharing the story behind the music. “Gone” was shared to me by a very close friend during the 90’s. She is also the reason why I came to know you and your music… “Gone” is the reason why I push myself to improve in playing the piano. Every time I get to sit to play piano (wherever I may be), this is the first piece that I play.

Can I ask your permission to share this story (linking it to this website as well) in my blog/website? I won’t do so until you approve of it

Aww!.. very sad. I never thought this song is about a cat/kitten. I’m so in love with this song of yours. Even i’m a guitarist, I tried to learn it in my portable keyboard note-for-note, although I took it in the key of E because it’s much easier (I just have to transpose it down half step). This also a song of a memory of my late beloved mother. She used to request it to me to play and she would just smile and contemplate while watching me play. And plus, I’m really a cat person, especially kittens. That’s why i’m so relateful with this blog of yours. At least now I know, we have some share of common. We both love cats and music. Ps. I surely think that the guy who comment above me (Yannick) is referring to a TV scene “Maala-ala Mo Kaya”, w/c is also a popular TV soap opera in the Philippines. That’s all.
